b. Project Implementation Plan Including those Responsible:
Equipment purchase and installation
Valerie: Our school does not have the flip cameras yet. We will be using our technology budget to purchase 10 Flip Cameras. This will allow each of our committee members to use one for the trial run and have 5 extra, one for each grade level and one for the technology classroom. After the first year of this pilot implementation, we would like to purchase enough to have 5 per grade level (one for each subject area and/or core). Once the cameras are purchased, over the summer, we will make sure all materials needed are put onto the server for individual downloads onto teacher and student laptops. Cameras will be housed in the rooms of the committee members, Debbie, Jennifer, and Deidre, the remainders will be housed in Denise Milam’s room, the technology advisor, and handout to other in the pilot group (to be determined in September). (Denise Milam)

Testing
Valerie: Upon arrival of the cameras, we will test the tools to be sure they work prior to the first day of school. This will be done over the summer with the assistance of John Henninger. (Valerie Phillips and John Henninger)

Training
Valerie: At our first few days of in-services in September, we will hand out the Flip Cameras and go over how to work them in the form of a mini-workshop run by me with the help of our Technology advisor. (Valerie Phillips and Denise Milam)

Evaluation
Valerie: As we work through our first year using the Flip Cameras, we will keep our blog up and running so at the end of each marking period, the participating teachers can take a survey so we can gain feedback to support our initiative when introducing it to the staff the following year. I will be reviewing the data and completing a summary of the answers to be posted as well. (Valerie Phillips)

c. Schedule for Implementation Plan:
Valerie: Our schedule will rotate with the Teaching and Learning Meetings already in place. These T&L meetings take place every other week by grade level. At this time, once a month, the participating in our Flip Camera Initiative will meet in our technology advisors room to discuss progress, success, and issues. The first day of our in-service for the year, we will have time allotted to get the initial training and materials handed out.
